COVID 19 Update & Ticketing Instructions

Meridian Centre Statement:

Providing a safe environment for our clients, visitors, guests and staff is our top priority.  The Meridian Centre continues to closely monitor the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ontario and any potential impact it may have on our day-to-day operations.  We are working with promoters of upcoming events in order to keep our fans updated and apprised of any possible changes to event schedules.  In response to growing awareness and concern, the Meridian Centre continues to follow the precautionary guidelines of our local public health organizations, which include:

  • Regular cleaning of high touch point areas such as, stair railings, door handles, purchase devices and elevator buttons with Health Canada recommended products.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of facility public spaces and rest rooms.
  • Adding additional hand sanitizer stations in various locations throughout the facility.

While the Niagara Public Health Organization stresses that risk to the general public remain low, we remain diligent on staying abreast of the latest updates and developments as they occur.  Public Health continues to encourage the practice of good hygiene, including thoroughly washing your hands, using a tissue or your elbow when sneezing or coughing, and if you are not feeling well to use your best judgment and stay home.

Event Updates:

Glorious Sons: this event has been postponed. We suggest holding on to your tickets until the new show is announced as it will be valid for the new date.  

Harlem Globetrotters: this event has been cancelled. Refunds available from point of purchase. Online and Box Office credit card purchases will be automatically refunded. If you purchased using cash or debit, you will be contacted by the Box Office with more details. 

Cirque du Soleil: CRYSTAL: this event has been cancelled. Refunds available from point of purchase. Online and Box Office credit card purchases will be automatically refunded. If you purchased using cash or debit, you will be contacted by the Box Office with more details. 

Hats and Horses - Niagara Derby Day: this event has been rescheduled to September 5, 2020. Existing tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.

Ticketmaster:

To find out the status of your event(s), as well as more information regarding the cancellation and rescheduling of live events, go to ticketmaster.ca, and follow these simple steps:

At the top of the home page, you’ll find two links: Find the Status of Your Event and Information Regarding the Cancellation and Rescheduling of Live Events.

  1. Under the “Find the Status of Your Event” link, you will find all events that have been cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled.
  2. To change the city you are searching, click the city link next to 'All Event Status Updates Near.'
  3. To filter by Cancelled, Postponed, or Rescheduled events, click the drop-down menu on the left.
  4. To filter by Category, click the drop-down menu in the middle.

For Postponed and Rescheduled Events: If you’re selling tickets to these events, the listing with the old date will come down — then just list the new tickets with the new date (once confirmed) from My Account on your computer or mobile device.

Ticketmaster is working with the event organizer to identify new dates (for events that are postponed), and we will contact you as soon as we have confirmation. For rescheduled events, that information will be listed on our website by your event. If your event's organizer is offering refunds for a postponed or rescheduled event,
this option (a refund link) will be visible under the order in your Ticketmaster account.

For any canceled events: Due to the unprecedented volume of cancelations, please note that your account will be refunded within the next 14 - 21 days. If the tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the fan who originally bought the tickets from Ticketmaster.
