A Skating Show Like No Other Comes to the Meridian Centre!

The inaugural Skate Niagara Ice Show takes place on Friday, January 30th, 2015, bringing Olympic Gold Medalists Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue, and 4-time World Champion Kurt Browning, to St. Catharines for the first time. Breathtaking aerial artists 'Flying on Ice' will make their Canadian debut in this unique and exciting show that also features NEXXICE, the 6-time World Medalist Synchronized Skating Team from Burlington.  Hometown Olympic Silver Medalist Kirsten Moore-Towers and her new partner Michael Marinaro are among the internationally acclaimed skaters in this extraordinary show directed by Emmy award winning choreographers, Sandra Bezic and Michael Seibert.

The Inaugural Skate Niagara Ice Show has brought together a star studded ensemble of Canada's Olympic and World Champion skating icons who will hit the ice for a night of entertianment and artistry in St. CAtharines for the first time ever skating show in the new Meridian Centre.

Choreographed by world renowned Sandra Bezic, the show features Gold and Silver Medalists Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, Four-time World Champion, Kurt Browning, St. Catharines native and Olympic Silver Medalist, Kirsten Moore-Towers, Eight time Canadian Synchronized Team Champion Nexxice and for the first time in Canada, aerial artists Flying On Ice.  

During events, parking at the Meridian Centre is limited to accessible spots with a government issued permit. However, there are some easy parking options available in the downtown core. Visit our Parking page for specifics.
