COVID-19 Fan Communications and Updates


Fans! We are thrilled to have you back in the building this July! Please note that things will look a little different and procedures getting into the building will also take a bit more time. We appreciate your patince as we do our best to get you back to events safely! We couldnt be more excited!

Please note some important information:

  • Masks are required at all time unless eating or drinking while in your seat.
  • You must remain in your seat at all times unless purchasing food and beverage, visiting the restroom facilities or in case of an emergency.
  • You must try and maintain physical distance of 2 meters at all times while entering the building, walking the concourse and using the restroom facilities.
  • Please, whenever possible, we appreciate cashless transactions.
  • Access within the venue is limited to certain areas.
  • Hand Sanitizer stations are available throughout the building.
  • There is absolutely no re-entry into the building once you exit.

WE ARE READY FOR YOU!

We have had a lot of time to get ready...a lot of time! Fortunately, the Meridian Centre is managed by ASM Global, the world’s leading venue management and services company, we have begun deploying VenueShield, a comprehensive and industry-leading reopening program. The protocols and procedures being activated are to ensure the safest return to events possible, providing the highest levels of safety, security and consumer confidence, in alignment with approvals from local government officials and health care experts. All fans will be required to complete a screening within 2 hours prior to entry and wear a mask inside the venue. Capacity is currently limited to 1000 spectators.

  • Our team is cleaning to the highest possible standards. Feel confident that we are cleaning high traffic touchpoints regularly.
  • Our staff is screened daily, and will be using PPE in all public facing spaces.
  • Our goal is yours and our staffs safety, if you see something that needs attention, please let a Guest Service staff know.

Ticketmaster

To find out the status of your event(s), as well as more information regarding the cancellation and rescheduling of live events, go to ticketmaster.ca, and follow these simple steps:

  1. Under the “Find the Status of Your Event” link, you will find all events that have been cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled.
  2. To change the city you are searching, click the city link next to 'All Event Status Updates Near.'
  3. To filter by Cancelled, Postponed, or Rescheduled events, click the drop-down menu on the left.
  4. To filter by Category, click the drop-down menu in the middle.

For Postponed and Rescheduled Events: If you’re selling tickets to these events, the listing with the old date will come down — then just list the new tickets with the new date (once confirmed) from My Account on your computer or mobile device.

Ticketmaster is working with the event organizer to identify new dates (for events that are postponed), and we will contact you as soon as we have confirmation. For rescheduled events, that information will be listed on our website by your event. If your event's organizer is offering refunds for a postponed or rescheduled event,
this option (a refund link) will be visible under the order in your Ticketmaster account.

For any canceled events: Due to the unprecedented volume of cancelations, please note that your account will be refunded within the next 14 - 21 days. If the tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the fan who originally bought the tickets from Ticketmaster.
